Burger King is preparing to open a location in the heart of Tumon on Chalan Pale San Vitores.
The store will be built on a triangular property opposite Tumon Sands Plaza.
Rudolph K. Rudolfo Jr. managing director of Pacific Fastfood Associates LLC which does business as Burger King Guam told the Journal “We would like to service the lower Tumon area because there are lots of tourists there and people work in the area.”
He said the location adjacent to the Guam Police Department’s Tumon station was “pretty much the only property open.”
The new store he said was waiting permitting and approvals. “It is in the planning stages. We have some conceptual drawings already.” He said the design would allow for a continuous sidewalk for the ease of pedestrians.
The restaurant will be a full-size store at 2 000 square feet with a drive-through facility and will be open 24 hours. Burger King’s other locations on Guam are in Upper Tumon the Micronesian Mall Barrigada Shell Station the AB Won Pat Guam International Airport and Guam Premier Outlets. MBJ
