MUNING Guam "" The Committee to Revitalize Tourism kicked off its "Yes on Prop B" campaign on Sept. 7. The initiative would allow slot machines at Guam Greyhound Park.

Proposition B would allow a limited number of slot machines at Guam Greyhound Park where the Department Revenue and Taxation would have regulatory and tax authority over the project out of its on-site office. The proposition would also allow for slot revenue to fund schools and healthcare for Guam.

David S. Nealley political consultant for the committee told the Journal "The end result of a "Yes" vote on Proposition B will probably be one of the more significant things that’s happened to this economy. It’s no panacea but it will certainly be another pump into the economy." MBJ
