AIRPORT ROAD Saipan — The Commonwealth Ports Authority said it would continue to charge Japan Airlines its fees under its previous agreement for chartered flights into the Northern Mariana Islands.

The ports authority considering a long term relationship with JAL said it is willing to work with JAL and will charge the airline less.

Students from Narita Japan arrived in Saipan on Nov. 7 and departed Nov. 10 on a chartered JAL flight. The flight garnered JAL the deduction.
