Guam Business magazine is proud to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Guam Business Executive of the Year award gala tradition.

The Guam Business Executive of the Year award is presented in order to recognize executives who have made outstanding contributions to the local business community and raised the standards in the field in which they are involved. The nominees for the 2009 Guam Business Executive of the Year are:

• Hee K. Cho chief executive officer JMSH LLC;
• Matthew Giger chief business development officer iConnect;
• Robert Marks operations manager Parsons Corp.;
• James A. Martinez president Guam Contractors’ Association;
• Jay R. Shedd president and CEO Docomo Pacific;
• Jerry L. Tan president Tan Holdings Corp.;
• Sinforoso M. Tolentino administrative partner Carlsmith Ball LLP.

The award will be presented at the Executive of the Year gala on Jan. 16 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Guam in conjunction with the release of the January/February 2010 issue of Guam Business featuring a commissioned portrait of the winner on its cover.

The name of the winner has traditionally been held secret by the magazine until the unveiling of the issue at the gala.
