  • Westin Guam – 2,000 laundry bags and 5,000 shower caps & 1,000 laundry bags, 800 mouthwash and 900 lotion to the Mayor’s Council of Guam
  • Outrigger Guam Beach Resort – 3 cases of each: shampoo, body wash, lotion, and conditioner & 2 cases of shower caps
  • PIC Guam – 10,000 shower caps
  • Lotte Guam – 1,250 shower caps
  • Wyndham Garden – created care packages for quarantined individuals
  • Pacific Star Resort and Spa – 1,000 shower caps
  • IHG/Fiesta Guam Resort – 300 pcs shower cap, 200 shampoo, and 500 soaps

 

Subway Restaurants and Foremost Foods partially sponsored Subway sandwiches and Foremost Quench water for 150 personnel at the Guam Regional Medical City.

 

Coca-Cola Beverage Co. Saipan donated Glaceau Vitamin Water to hydrate the COVID-19 Task Force.

 

GTA provided 400 meals to firefighters and emergency medical technicians of the Guam Fire Department.

 

Jones & Guerrero donated 100 KFC meals to frontline workers of the Commonwealth Health Center Corp. in Saipan.

 

The CNMI Department of Public Safety received two mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles from the Law Enforcement Support Office for use in emergency response situations and rescue missions.

 

UNICEF, together with the World Health Organization and the governments of Australia and New Zealand has provided the Federated States of Micronesia an SMS platform of two text messages daily on COVID-19 preventive measures to reach 25,000 people throughout the country; and implemented a community hand washing campaign including an orientation on proper hand washing in 77 schools in FSM’s Chuuk and Pohnpei States.

It is also working with Pohnpei Public Utilities to build 100 handwashing stations with soap in schools and other public facilities as part of a hygiene promotion campaign and provided tents in Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap to be used as clinics.

 

IT&E has donated a mobile hot spot with 4G data to PPE Guam, an all-volunteer initiative to create Personal Protective Equipment items from home, and donate them to medical professionals, first responders, and those at high risk of contracting Covid-19.

IT&E also supported the UOG April 8 telethon with phone lines.

 

Sidelines Bar & Grill donated, prepared, packaged and delivered nearly 1,000 meals to front line workers at Guam Memorial Hospital as well at quarantine sites, to senior citizens, veterans and the needy.

 

Docomo Pacific renovated the Minachom Atdao pavilion in Saipan in preparation for future gatherings.

 

The Salvation Army in Guam is continuing to provide community assistance through its food pantry.

The Archdiocese of Agana’s Ministry to the Homeless is now providing boxed meals to the needy, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

 

The University of Guam raised $40,073 in its April 8 telethon.

Westin Guam delivered pizza and bottled water to American Medical Centers in Tumon and Mangilao and the Department of Public Health and Social Services; offered complimentary coffee to medical personnel and personnel of the Guam Fire Department and Guam Police Department from April 1 to 13; donated 1,000 laundry bags, 800 bottles of mouthwash and 900 bottles of lotion to the Mayors Council of Guam for senior citizens; and donated 2,000 laundry bags and 5,000 shower caps to Guam Memorial Hospital.

Westin also delivered pizza and bottled water to Guam Memorial Hospital and the Skilled Nursing Unit and is scheduled to deliver pizza and bottled water to the Guam Regional Medical Center.
