GTA partnered with Hafa Huli and A&L Foods to deliver approximately 800 meals to frontline healthcare workers.

 

GTA also donated 300 care packages and 30 Samsung tablets with cases to keep isolated patients at Guam Memorial Hospital connected to the medical teams and their family members.

 

Joeten Motors Co. Inc. donated a 2020 Honda Insight EX as a hole-in-one prize for the Rotary Club of Saipan’s Goodwill Golf Classic fundraiser.

 

The Giving Tree Children’s Academy distributed diapers and baby formula at the Lotte Hotel Guam to families in need.

 

The Tan Siu Lin Foundation donated 4,887 laptop bags, valued at $122,175, to the Northern Mariana Islands Public School System for its students.

 

The Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, Palau and the Northern Mariana Islands donated more than 3,500 COVID-19 tests to Guam.

 

Urban Fitness Guam donated personal protective equipment valued at $10,000 from its Go the Distance virtual fitness fundraiser to the Guam Nursing Association.

 

The Badminton World Federation, through Badminton Oceania, donated 96 AirShuttles for AirBadminton; rackets; plastic shuttlecocks; and nets to the Northern Marianas Badminton Association. mbj

Ambassador Wallace M.G. Chow of the People’s Republic of China (Taiwan) in Palau donated $1,500 to the Palau Conservation Society for its annual fundraising event.

Chow, representing the People’s Republic of China (Taiwan), also donated $50,000 to sponsor Palau’s Oct. 1 Independence Day fireworks display.
