The Baldyga Group is bringing a new restaurant to island, Anemos Mediterranean Restaurant. The development of the sidewalk restaurant and bar includes bringing in a live DJ to the space as well. The group is looking for two Greek-specialty chefs to join the ranks in the new venture, which is part of the $10 million major renovation of SandCastle.

The group is also seeking 40 prospective cast and dancers to train for the new dinner show; the goal is to hire 20 “island style” dancers, with or without experience, and 20 contemporary dancers preferably with some dance training, according to an April 22 release.

Additional team members are wanted for Zoh, the new nightclub which will be replacing the former Globe nightclub. Once Zoh’s renovation is complete, the space will include private booths, multiple bars, live dancers and computerized lighting and video.

Another new business, Golden State Wealth Management, is bringing financial services to the island.
