Atkins Kroll Inc. in Guam was awarded an Occupational Safety and Health Administration Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program or SHARP certification. As a SHARP site, AK Guam is exempt from programmed OSHA inspection for two years. AK is the first company on the island and in the Pacific to achieve this milestone. In all of Region IX, which includes California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and Northern Mariana Islands, AK is the only automotive dealership to receive a SHARP certification. GTA hosted a groundbreaking for its Alupang Data Center and cable landing station in Tamuning on Oct. 6. The center will offer more than 31,000 square feet of floor space built to Tier III standards with 4.0 megawatts of power capacity. Amorient Engineering and Nova are due to complete the project in third quarter 2024.
