Macy’s Guam is collecting cash rounded up to the nearest dollar from customers for the American Red Cross in June through to July 13.

Westin Resort Guam donated $3,600 to the Guam Chapter of the American Red Cross. The funds were raised in April and May through the hotel’s lobby café, The Mix, contributing $1 from every coffee purchase.
The Marianas Visitors Authority hosted a community cleanup at the Paseo de Marianas in Saipan.
The Guam Young Professionals of the Guam Chamber of Commerce held a cleanup along Aspinall Avenue and Plaza de España in Hagåtña.
The Government of the Marshalls Islands donated $50,000 to the Government of the Northern Mariana Islands for Typhoon Sinlaku recovery.

Marines assigned to Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz participated in a community relations event with Finegayan Elementary School, continuing the installation’s commitment to support the school’s students, faculty, and campus improvement efforts.
Throughout the spring 2026 semester, Marines and civilian staff worked alongside faculty through supply drives, grounds beautification projects, and student activities and preparing classroom space for upcoming summer renovations.
Camp Blaz personnel also assisted the school with a large classroom clearing effort aimed at relocating bulk office and school supplies. More than 17,000 pounds of supplies were moved to a permanent storage location, preparing the space for updates and renovations ahead of the fall semester.

The Society of American Military Engineers awarded 10 scholarships in the total amount of $32,000 from the Charlie Corn Scholarship which raises funds through an annual golf tournament.
The recipients are Christian Lobaton, who received $5,000, currently attending the University of Portland; Gian Paras, received $4,500, attending the University of Guam; Cyril Concepcion, $4,000, attending the University of Guam; Camillah Mariano, $3,500, attending the University of Notre Dame; Nicole Gapey, $3,000 attending the University of Hawaii Fall 2026; Dylan Bautista, $2,500, attending the University of Guam; Eleanor Westerfield, $2,500, attending the University of Hawaii Fall 2026; Colin Garlin, $2,000, attending the University of Guam; Anthony Rutmag, $2,000, attending the University of Hawaii, Landon Brewster, $2,000, attending Oregon State University; and Enerihka Yugfel, $1,000, attending the University of Guam Fall 2026.

Pay-Less Markets Community Foundation awarded $41,272.22 to the beneficiaries of the 30th Annual Pay-Less Kick the Fat 5k/10k Run Walk and Wellness Fair.
The beneficiaries are Astumbo Middle School PTO, Be Heartfelt Inc., Breaking Wave Theatre Co. Inc., Foneni Acocho Senso Athletic Organization, Gametime Inc., the Guam National Badminton Federation, Mane’lu, Pacific Islands University, and Victims Advocate Reaching Out.
Guam High School received $500 as the winner of the school participation contest.
