Bank of Guam employees donated gently used shoes to Alee Shelter through Kind Soles, an annual endeavor.

Guam Business Magazine donated $5,000 each to the University of Guam, Northern Marianas College and the GCA Trades Academy. The donations were from funds raised at the Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year Gala held at the Hyatt Regency Guam on Jan. 23. The UOG funds will be used for stipends for student leadership roles at The Triton’s Call newspaper and Adobe Cloud applications to allow students to design, edit and publish professional-grade journalism across digital and print platforms.

Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan is offering a $10,000 hole-in-one prize for the Northern Marianas College Foundation’s 2026 Golf Open, scheduled for March 21 and March 22. 
 

Matson Navigation Co. has given a $165,000 in-kind shipping commitment to the University of Guam. The contribution will support the transport of equipment and furnishings for four new campus buildings — the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center, School of Engineering Building, Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health Nursing Annex, and the Water and Environmental Research Institute Building. 

In addition, Matson pledged $5,000 in annual scholarship support from 2025 through 2027.
