Corporate Giving — April 2026

Guam Business Magazine donated $5,000 each to the University of Guam, Northern Marianas College and the GCA Trades Academy. The donations were from funds raised at the Guam Business Magazine Executive of the Year Gala held at the Hyatt Regency Guam on Jan. 23. The UOG funds will be used for stipends for student leadership roles at The Triton’s Call newspaper and Adobe Cloud applications to allow students to design, edit and publish professional-grade journalism across digital and print platforms.

Corporate Giving — November 2025

South Pacific Petroleum Corp. donated $500 to the University of Guam’s Triton Advertising & Management Association to support its student-led marketing and leadership initiatives. TAMA is UOS’s newest student organization dedicated to marketing. The organization unites students from different majors to explore advertising, management, event production, social media strategy, brand storytelling, and project leadership.

Corporate Giving — October 2025

Matson Navigation Co. has given a $165,000 in-kind shipping commitment to the University of Guam. The contribution will support the transport of equipment and furnishings for four new campus buildings — the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center, School of Engineering Building, Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health Nursing Annex, and the Water and Environmental Research Institute Building. 

In addition, Matson pledged $5,000 in annual scholarship support from 2025 through 2027.
