CAPITOL HILL, SAIPAN — The Department of Veterans Affairs signed a lease for a new Saipan VA Outpatient Clinic on Oct. 15.
Planned services include primary care, audiology, mental health, and telehealth care, to provide convenient and high-quality health care services for Veterans in the region. Clinic space will encompass approximately 3,831 square feet with 10 available parking spaces.
The project is expected to be completed within the first quarter of 2027.
In a release, Thomas A. Steinbrunner, health service area 5.5 director for VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, said the new clinic would provide accessible healthcare to Veterans in the Northern Mariana Islands.
“Veterans in the Northern Mariana Islands will soon have closer, more convenient, and more comprehensive VA care closer to home as part of our commitment to deliver exceptional care,” he said. mbj
