
Philippine Airlines has pushed back the date of its resumption of flights after Typhoon Sinlaku.
The airline will now begin flying between Manila and Saipan in October, rather than its original date of June 21.
Night operations at the Francisco C. Ada Airport in Saipan are due to resume June 20.
The Marianas Visitors Authority confirmed it will participate in Brand USA sales missions in Japan and Korea July to promote travel to U.S. destinations, including the Northern Mariana Islands. MVA will also attend the JATA Tourism Expo 2026, as will the Guam Visitors Bureau.
Visitor arrivals to the NMI totaled 3,277 in April, a 72% decrease compared to 11,880 visitors in April 2025. mbj
