Nominations open for the 2025 Reina A. Leddy Guam Young Professional of the Year Award
The Guam Chamber of Commerce’s Guam Young Professionals announced that nominations are now open for the 2025 Reina A. Leddy Guam Young Professional of the Year Award.
The award recognizes outstanding achievement, leadership, and service among Guam’s emerging professionals, the Chamber said in a Dec. 5 statement.

The honor was established in tribute to the late Reina A. Leddy, who served as the Chamber’s president until her sudden passing in 2009.
“Leddy, [was] a respected leader who championed the development and advancement of Guam’s young workforce, the award celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional professional accomplishments, leadership excellence, and meaningful contributions to the island’s business community,” the Chamber said.
Nominations for qualified individuals can be submitted through GYP’s official online form. The deadline to submit nominations is Dec. 26.
Nominees will be announced on Jan. 9.
A selection committee made up of past winners and members of the Guam Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee will review nominations and make the final selection.
The Reina A. Leddy Guam Young Professional of the Year will be formally recognized with a special award at the Guam Young Professionals’ annual event on Feb. 12.
